Design Thinking Process / Why Design Thinking in Education Sector

  1. Emphatize
  2. Define
  3. Ideate
  4. Prototype
  5. Test
These are the mainly use process to solve any problem in Design Thinking.

Emphatize

In this process, you find out students interest their needs by which you understand their problem very easily. Here, Teachers should watch and listen more students by which you know : What is their problem and Which kind of topic is difficult and getting trouble in understanding.

Eg:- Some Students don't like to study Mathematics as they feel very bad in this subject.

Define

After collecting all data of students through Enphatize process then we define the exact problem of students. If we define problem well, then chances of getting problem solved increased and then we go through next processes.

Ideate

After defining the exact problem of students now we come on next process "Ideate" here we go forward to search solution for problem. Educators should create a proper list to solve the problem or to reduce the problem or to make the problem easier, educators should make proper plan that how to decide proper syllabus so it can attract attention of students and students should get attentive in class.

Prototype

Prototype, its a demo stage. Like after defining and ideate the problem we prepare a prototype. Now, in this stage make the idea in practical form and in tangible output so to convey ideas effectively through tools.

Like Teachers make tools and in practical form so to discuss problems of students and get solved and get there feedback.

Test

Now, testing the prototype in real environment that how effective the solution students get.
